This expedition offers an ascent via the largely unexplored west ridge. The base camp is at 5,100 meters on the banks of the picturesque Panchi Nala, with Camp II at 5,895 meters. The peak itself stands at 6,187 meters. Koa Rong II was first climbed by a Polish expedition in 1984 via the southeast ridge, with few subsequent ascents, and none clearly documented on the west ridge. The
