While known in certain circles as the Reverse Infrared because of the colour flip on the midsole compared to the original Infrared AJ6, theres more to the story. Back in 1999, while preparing for the first reissue of the AJ6 OG, a sample was created that swapped the black and Infrared panels on the midsole around, but was ultimately left unreleased in favour of the original layout.
