Elastic Hopple Shorteners - Short Jodhpurs & Breeches This well-priced pair will standMade from heavy duty elastic with Zilco strapping ends and stainless steel buckles. The straps are attached to the hopples next to the hopple connecting straps. They are adjusted to be shorter than the connecting straps, so that the horse "feels" the hopples, but the elastic allows the horse to stride out to the connecting strap length. This setup is designed to encourage the horse to become better balanced in his gait. Each strap measures 30cm from
