The front of the chest has the original brass 'bat-wing' shaped escutcheon lock-plate and below are four arched shaped fielded panels & below are three drawers with corresponding bat-wing handles

The stools are made in the traditional manner of the early 1600s, with rectangular seats and raised on four out swept turned legs, the stools are of joined and pegged construction.
