Part of the first wave of military action after 9 11 attacks in 2001. Deployed to Karshi Khanabad K2 Air Base, LTF 507 directly supported TASK FORCE DAGGER Horse Soldiers (12 Strong) in America's first response to Al Qaeda's 9 11 attacks. In November 2001, Logistics Task Force 507th was formed and deployed to Uzbekistan. The LTF provided a full range of support to ground forces in Operation Enduring Freedom.
