Clematis ochroleuca Bald Knob Drought Tolerant Plants spread the roots out horizontallyThis 2012 Plant Delights JLBG introduction originated from our original seed collection of the wonderful native bush clematis, Clematis ochroleuca, from a mountainous population at Bald Knob, Virginia (Franklin County). In late spring, the 15" tall x 15" wide clumps are topped with pendulous, fuzzy, creamy white bells. Following flowering, the plants are covered with splendid seedheads which resemble large, attractive, golden balls of lint. We like
