2022 Weingut Saalwachter Spatburgunder "Alte Reben", Rheinhessen, Germany Jacques-Frederic Mugnier a cool site located atIngelheims unique selling point in Rheinhessen is the abundance of limestone in the area. And, with warming temps, it's no suprise that we're starting to see excellent pinot noir emerge. Saalwachter is based here, this is richer when compared to the base Spatburgunder showing the structure from the estates old vines which go into this bottling.
