Running with Needles & Scissors | My Father's House Magdalena van der Byl 1856 Pattern Quilt Kit 3 / d'Alger / DMC:This fabulous Dutch sampler was a joy to stitch, although it was quite the commitment. The border features lovely flowers including pansies. Magdalena stitched this sampler when she was 12 years old in wool. I have chosen to stitch it in a variety of lovely silks.
