That's right, there's a town in the Maconnais that (by legend) gave the grape its name, and this bottle is made from its fruit. The Chavy family are respected names up in Puligny Montrachet, and this is their debut vintage working the village of Chardonnay's vineyards from their Puligny cellar. They raised it entirely in stainless steel to keep the
