Rather than continue in the obviously provocative vein the pop culture of the time had been accustomed to, Throbbing Gristle threw a great curveball. By parodying easy listening sleeves of the 60s and 70s, TG sugared their output just enough to raise the profile of their work. Once lured in however, the listener is blasted with alternate soundworlds from the musique concrete
