Fabulous Very Old Noah's Ark with Six Wonderful Creatures antique red paint with a bit of minorOh goodness, this is an old one, with one half of the ark's roof open and only six animals in the flock, but what fantastic ones they, and it, are! I'm more or less certain the set is 19th century German, and while I'm eyeing these old Noah's arks all the time I've never seen one a set with animals as good as these, made of three carved layers of wood, joined together with irregularly spaced, beautifully bleeding hand forged nails, and individually
