I think it's just a terrific piece that makes me happy every time I look at it

which is welded to a larger hanger (it all reminds me rather of a ski lift) making it quite easy to hang them from a hook on the wall

it's also very nicely constructed and substantial

I would think it has 100 years on it at least and has surely stopped a lot of doors, yielding a to my eye an ideal surface scraped, dinged, and chipped, but still holding on to much of its original paint, most importantly that of the wonderfully expressive eyes and whiskers. I think it all adds up to a pretty perfect embodiment of black cat persona! 8 1 2" tall x 5 3 5"
