and with a really nice warm patina

or ethnicity (though there surname Shulka is Northern Indian) but she looks to me wise and interesting

this one representing gradations between black and white

Very Last of the Old Birdlover's Watercolors: Hooded Merganser rosse pottery I found this one alongTruly the very last few today from a great bunch of old naive watercolor of birds done by someone long ago who was quite serious about his birds! Each and every one of them a charmer I think, this one portraying a proud Red Breasted Merganser, with wonderfully careful hand written attribution. 7" x 5" and in very good condition.
