I always grab these old tabletop billiard balls when I find them for exactly that reason the colors on them are just really good, and all the better for the white circles and black numbers of their tops. Made of a hard composite bakelite, with a little cracking here and there as pictured, and a bit of loss to the black of the numbers on a few of them.
