Description
Far less impressive after bottling than it was from cask
Opaque ruby
very good ripeness with touches of clear honey
game and a pretty floral nuance
Rossignol Trapet, Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle other_regions Far less impressive after bottling(also from young vines planted in 1986). A relatively high toned and very pinot nose that is cool, airy and transparent as the stony influence of the site is easily seen through the red berry fruit aromas and continues onto the pretty, supple and beautifully detailed flavors that while complex and linear, finish with mild dryness and its not a given that it will round out. 88 2013+
