Not a lot of whole lot of carving went into this one

I'd think mid 20th century or so though am not entirely certain

Glass slides smoothly and easily and wood frame is sturdy

Edna Mohler's Maple Leaf, 1910 Crayon Drawing ornate wooden box while the long box containedA very October feeling sort of a maple leaf in this radiant yellow, with just a bit of orange too, and I really love the manner of those handwritten "L"s, echoing the line of the leaf of the stem, and evoking the gesture of a feaf fluttering to the ground. A bit of a transcendent one I think. (And long live the land of the Maple Leaf!) 9 1 4" x 6", crayon on paper with ink lettering. Good condition, bright and strong color, with some toning to upper
