Portrait of Louisa Charlotte Tyndall (1845-1940) Size:Standard: 6 x 4in View of Bevis MarksThe sitter appears in half profile, facing left, her face shadowed and her hair worn up. Louisa Tyndall's dress is light brown, edged with lace and heavily embroidered panels in a leaf design. Around her neck, held on a claret ribbon, is a heavy gold pendant, with the word 'ROMA' just visible. Intended to commemorate her wedding and to be viewed with the companion work, John Tyndall.
