Antique Turned, Painted Wooden Croquet Stakes hand-written story with yellow beak and redYum! Ive really fallen in love with the look of late 19th century croquet posts, with their sculptural forms and interesting color palettesand the surface of these is wonderfully alligatored to boot. Great use of white paint on the narrow bands of this pair, too. Scuffs and scattered paint loss all over as well as soil stains to the pointy tips, all attesting to the fact that these have seen many a match. I think these are great mounted on the wall
