I love the shape of ginger jars generally

especially on one side where the wood is showing through on the lower body

" but it must have been lost quite some time ago as the wood has aged enough to make the loss pretty much disappear

Wonderful Old Handmade, Hand-painted Wooden Ducks in a Row Puzzle old circus furniture with individualized facesI love whoever made this puzzle so much such a clever and brilliantly executed thing, I think!. Though I've photographed it in two segments, all of the pieces fit together to form one long linear whole, with the cutout at the left of each piece fitting one particular beak. Great old paint, terrific color, beautifully aged, just fabulous. 1920s 40s I would guess. 20 1 4" long x 3" tall x 1 8" thick when configured and in great condition.
