Inuit Mid-Century Soapstone Head Sculpture, Signed tabletopgame I really love this--how notI have really fallen in love with this piece, which I find wonderfully direct, eternally mysterious, and deeply true. The more I look at it, the more of everything I find in this face. It is an Inuit carving and I know for certain dates at latest to the 1950s, as it has been held in collections since then. Substantial in size and weight and presence it is carved dark green soapstone which was polished to a high shine, but which contains some
