Frye in Wilton, New Hampshire, founded in 1909. It bears the company name and location on the interior bottom of the box and I believe likely dates to the second decade of the 20th century. I have found a number of other Frye boxes online, but very few still with lids. This varnished box has a wonderfully rich patina. The bottom of the box is
