With a little googling I turned up one other example (dating to the 1920s-30
but then how to manage this giant encumbrance when on shore
and hardened enough for it to stand on its own

Set of Three Old Copper Printers Blocks from Sears Catalog or Similar antique printing plate With a little googling II chose these three printing blocks from a box of several dozen, I believe all related to products in an old Sears or general store catalog. I'm not entirely sure what objects they represent I'm guessing the one that looks like a jar is actually the glass cover on a lamp or lantern, and then a wooden mallet, but would bet the one that looks like a planter is probably not actually that Anyway, I just think they're pretty great formally, and as a group,
