Mini French Hand-painted Celluloid Penguin Box silhouette or any sort of gatheringI love these tiny old celluloid boxes, threaded at the middle and just large enough to hold a pill or two an emergency Xanax, say, to ward off a Covid related panic attack. This little penguin, which I'd describe as Art Deco in style, is marked France on the Botton and I'd think dates to the 1920s 40s. Very sweet. Overall, he's in very good shape, with no cracks or flaws in the celluloid, just a little paint loss and a little staining visible against
