RMS 'Lucania' John Brown 2nd Earl of Essex (1565-1601)RMS 'Lucania', c1905. The 'Lucania' was a liner operated by the Cunard Line between 1893 and 1909. She held the Blue Riband from 1893 until 1898. The 'Lucania' and her sister, the 'Campania', had the most luxurious first class passenger accommodation of their time.
