Bobcats Green And White category-san-antonio Pay homage to that familiarGet ready to roar, Bobcats: were repping the Green and White with a little tribute to everyones favorite feline, Rufus the Bobcat. Rufus has been a fixture on the field at Peden Stadium since his grand entrance (on a Harley Davidson, no less) in 2006, although Ohio University has been known as the Bobcats since 1925. Rufuss name comes from both the scientific name for the bobcat species and a connection to one of OUs founding fathers, Rufus Putnam.
