It has a bit of a different quality on either side--one showing darker the other a little rustier red

Please see detailed photos for specific examples of wear to the basket--there are a couple of tiny broken stitches along the top edge of the lid and there is a bit of wear to the cedar bark

I know this puppet was created as part of as group of handmade Punch and Judy puppets to represents the "Neighbor" character; funnily enough, I think he looks a little like Jim Nabors, too, but even more so like Jim Broadbent! Really a wonderfully expressive guy, with huge red mouth, super bushy eyebrows and furrowed brown, and with arms that were made in. quite a wonky way, one higher than than the other. Handmade and hand painted papier
