I think the highlight of July Brimfield for me was digging through a pile of paintings and watercolors by American artists Adelaide Lawson Gaylor (1889-1986) and Wood Gaylor (1883-1957)

And with her bright red hair, I have to think this is a specific love story and I do hope these two were indeed disposed toward regularly dancing in the nude! Faceless but for inset, sharply protruding noses, perfect for pecking each other! Their arms, nailed at the shoulders, can be moved a bit but not a lot. 4 1 8" t x 2 13 16" d
