Subtle and Super Atmospheric Old Oil on Canvas Landscape with Fallen Trees tennis players and some mythic onesI'm not entirely sure how much the softness of this landscape painting is the product of age, but as it is now it is a subtle and soft and very atmospheric feeling thing, and I love it. With a fallen tree at either side, feeling very much like metaphor, and a play of verticals and horizontals otherwise, rock and cloud of trees. With a big gray sky, almost as if the scene were captured as a wildfire burned nearby, filling the sky with smoke. Framed as
