Description
Jacques Puffeney created a Trousseau cuvée called Les Bérangères out of this parcel
An unusually spicy and appealingly fresh array is comprised by liqueur-like red berry fruit aromas
There is enough reduction to suppress the underlying fruit though there is very good density to the subtle mineral-inflected flavors that deliver excellent length for a villages level wine on the balanced if mildly rustic finish
concentrated beauty that's already approachable given its fruit
Heresztyn Mazzini, Gevrey Chambertin Songes Vv Vintage:2015 Jacques Puffeney created a Trousseau(this is actually a blend of En Songes and Les Geuelepines). Once again the nose of pretty purple fruit and abundant floral elements is trimmed in soft wood. Here too the mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is really quite attractive while offering slightly better detail and minerality on the sneaky long, balanced and lightly rustic finale.
