French Ebony Wood and Horsehair Brush Lowell MA 8 1/4" tall x 5"Another pretty brush, which I love for its shape and the contrast between the near black ebony with the near white horsehair. I don't think this one is especially old; the wood on the handle of one side reads "Real Ebony" and the other bears some text I cannot read followed by "France." On one short side of the handle are five little inlaid bits that look like bone. I believe intended as a clothes brush, but certainly useful for all sorts of things,
