I've found just a few out there along similar lines, which help me date it to 1880 or so, though I'm not entirely certain what it once held. A lovely thing now for delivering a special gift, or just a special gift in itself. 4 7 8" x 2 11 16" x 1 1 8" and in very good antique condition.
