Part of a letter giving directions for the defence of the northern borders and for the safe keeping of the Duke of Orleans and other French prisoners taken at Agincourt in 1415, and of James I of Scotland, captured at sea on his way to France in 1406, information having been recieved of a design concerted between the Duke of Orleans and the Duke of Albany, Regent of Scotland.
