Jean-Jacques Confuron, Clos Vougeot other_regions_italy dark berry liqueur(from 40+ year old vines situated at the very top of the hill hard by the Chteau). Noticeable but not dominant wood spice fights a bit with the otherwise well layered aromas of earth, plum and notably ripe dark berry fruit along with a touch of herbal character. There is excellent concentration to the suave and velvety middle weight flavors that exhibit the typical youthful austerity on the balanced and impressively persistent finale where the herbal
