Description
with no trace of overripeness
flavorful vintage port and a very good tawny called Nimrod
The 2008 Barolo Brunate is beautifully balanced from start to finish
Two great Champagnes to start
Lucien Le Moine, Charmes Chambertin Vintage:2016 with no trace of overripeness(from both Charmes and Mazoyres in a roughly 50 50 proportion). Firm reduction dominates the fruit today though it does appear quite ripe. Otherwise there is excellent freshness to the racy and nicely detailed flavors that possess a velvety mid palate texture that contrasts somewhat with the crunchy and slightly rustic finale.
