This is also quite spicy if perhaps not quite as elegant as that of the Brûlées though there is just as much depth

Roche Bellene, Charmes Chambertin Size:3x750ml The 2004 Blanc des Millenaires(from Charmes proper). Deep ruby. A brooding and very reserved nose features aromas of dark berry fruit liqueur along with plenty of earth and underbrush nuances that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent phenolic maturity to the supporting tannins that shape the suave, round and seductively textured flavors that possess excellent mid palate concentration along with outstanding persistence. This is not an especially big Charmes
