I think it would be great if it were just the head with mouth open revealing spiky carved wooden teeth, but the addition of the claw with three spikes of its own makes it a hundred times better. Hard not to think of the big bad wolf knocking on the door, and of crocodiles, too. But to my eye this wolf has a definite sweetness about him, as if wanting just to shake
