Miniature Early 19th Century Pencil Sketch of Girl in Fabulous Dress! drawing of man in glasses with a steel tipThis is one of a handful of to my eye completely charming miniature drawings I purchased together, dating to the first or second quarter of the 19th Century, and though likely to be of Virginia origin. It's tiny, but what a lot of wonderful detail and patten is packed in, especially on her amazing outfit! I'm not totally sure about the form at left, maybe an easter basket??? And I'd guess birds flying about it. 1 7 8" x 1 3 4" and in great condition,
