Finca Allende, Aurus Size:6x750ml A wonderfully expressive and broad-rangingThe 1996 Aurus has a rustic, leathery bouquet that is animally and feral. The palate is medium bodied with light, slightly disjointed tannins, while the fruit seems to have ebbed away towards the simple finish. Drink now. Commencing with the Allende Blanc, I was impressed by how well this ages. Predominantly Viura with a higher percentage of Malvasia in older vintages, it develops a fine waxy texture and almost dried Barsac like personality.
