The case is a leather covering with a button to push opening the lid. The interior is a painted green metal. This tiny inkwell measures approximately 1 1 4" x 1 1 4" and is 1 1 4" tall. The overall condition is very good, inkwell has been used; the bottle is ink stained. The leather exterior is worn. The opening mechanism works well.
