Carved of marble and weighing about 6 1/2 pounds

There are holes at the feet which could be used for mounting it somewhere if desired

I am not certain the age of this piece but know it has been held in a folk art collection for at least the past 25 years

Happily, at an estate sale this past weekend I snatched up a handful, which very well might all of have been made by the same person, most likely a young woman, 150+ years ago or so. Gold foil and paper flowers arranged carefully under glass, with reverse painting in red
