Description
This is not my favorite style of Pomerol due to its hard edges
There is good density to the full-bodied and intensely mineral-driven flavors that flash good muscle and power of the grippy and slightly drying finish
balanced and sneaky long finale
The 2009 Croft has a tightly wound bouquet of blackberry
Louis Latour, Corton Charlemagne Blanc other_regions This is not my favorite(100% from vines in Aloxe and all domaine fruit). Here the nose is dominated by reduction and sulfur at present and is thus unreadable. What can be assessed is that there is good detail, power, size and weight to the concentrated and mineral driven broad shouldered flavors that possess excellent length on the bone dry and overtly austere finish. This should be a classic Latour Corton Charlemagne in time. (91 94) 2018+
