I bought this box with three sets of cards inside based on one photo not revealing much

Overall though it shows very well and has a very warm presence

And it is complete all the way around

with tears and rough edges here and there

Wonderfully Graphic Ink Drawing of Waddell Co Booth 1091 drawing on copper I bought this box withI found this one digging through a bin at the Boston Antiquarian book fair and just lit on it immediately so boldly graphic, and also feeling somewhat anthropomorphic, with the windows (I am thinking perhaps this is a booth in a private dining car?) at center reading like eyes and making the whole thing seem like a hulking creature, which makes me think a bit of Philip Guston, too. The Waddell Co. of Greenfield Ohio (founded in 1887) first produced
