Terrific Old Handmade Red White and Blue Knit Sock Doll wooden boy Bluteau primarily worked with found/scavangedLove at first sight with this guy, made by someone a hundred years ago or so with a great aesthetic sensibility I think! Perfect choice of buttons for his wide eyes, and great red yarn nose and mouth, with interesting braid like stitching for the mouth. Plus this terrific incorporation of blue and red knit to make a sort of vest, and pompoms for flourish everywhere!
