Gorgeous Pair of Victorian Turned Croquet Posts in Original Paint - 22 Inches vintage chinese I am not entirely sureI've long been admiring both the forms and the glorious color on early croquet posts, so was delighted to finally find this pair in Maine a few days ago. Great original paint, terrific palette, beautiful turned forms looking like stacks of spools. The only thing missing is a base for display (one sometime sees stands composed of a couple of old croquet balls), but certainly there are also sorts of ways in which to show these.
