Long and Low 19th C. Bentwood Box in Beautiful Green Paint (with Repaired Split) document tube but they look like funI believe this box is 19th c. European, most likely Scandanavian; I am not an expert on bentwood pantry boxes, but I think the manner in which the end of the wood is secured (known as Svepaskis in Swedish) is indicative of that. There is a carefully (glue) repaired split to the lid, but the green paint and unusual long and low form I think are so lovely, I don't much care. 7 1 2" l x 4 3 8" d x 1 1 4" t.
