it makes an ideal planter--refined enough for inside

so I won't even try to get into them here

but really I'd treat this box more as a decorative than a functional object anyway--set it somewhere to admire it and leave it alone

Raido Radio School Drawing, 1930s carved wooden animal bowl with some smudges and minorI'm guessing the Paul McGreery who drew this radio I'd assume for a class assignment did not receive an "A," with a little checkmark over his misplaced "D," calling out his error. But I do hope he got extra credit for his terrific drawing, which very accurately portrays what I believe would be called a "homebrew" or kit radio of the 1920s 30s, with these especially great headphones that seem abuzz with sound just sitting there! So fun. The drawing is
