Form 21 Gifting and Deep Serving BowlOrchids are very elegant, even when they are dormant. As a child, I remember seeing Chinese orchids and admiring their long, slim leaves, even as the focus tends to be on their spectacular flowers. For this form, I chose a cone shape that would echo the fanning of the leaves, with a shorter interior bowl that lifts the plant from within, raising it higher above the table. The exterior, brightly glazed cone could also be used for flowers. Tung Chiang
