Ken Tyrrell Finish:Single Staircase at Wandsworth Manor HouseKen Tyrrell, (1960s?). He was a front runner in F3 throughout the 1950s. In 1960 the Tyrrell Racing Organisation was established to run the factory Coopers in Formula Junior. At the start of 1964 Tyrrell was looking for a driver for the new Formula 3. The pairing of Jackie Stewart and Warwick Banks proved a great success, with Stewart winning the British Championship. In 1970 Tyrrell began to build the Tyrrell 001 chassis. For the 1971 season the car
