I am not entirely sure if the photograph here is of a paper pattern for making a section of bobbin lace or a section of lace itself but i love that elusiveness, including of the ground behind it, and the photo is I think a stand alone perfect thing. Details give a good sense of the richness of detail and tonality. I find it very striking and completely satisfying and would be especially happy to keep this one. 6 7 16" x 4 13 16". Late 19th early
