Charming Antique Folk Art Watercolor of Bird on Branch Signed Esa, Framed hand puppet interplay of positive and negative/lightI'm always on the lookout for 19th century Fraktur style folk art watercolors exactly like this one, which I am assuming was done by a young girl named Esa, though there are also the initials HL in pencil at lower left. The bird, flowers and branch were outlined in pencil, then painted in soft blue, green, ochre and pink. Serene but very cheerful and just lovely. Done on lined paper, with an embossed mark at lower right. It appears to be fairly newly
